1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MySmartSlots services, including our website at mysmartslots.com, AI chat widget, SMS tools, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Clair Group LLC (DBA MySmartSlots), a limited liability company registered in the state of Kansas.
2. Description of Services
MySmartSlots provides AI-powered appointment booking and business communication tools for small businesses, including but not limited to:
- AI chat widgets for websites (FAQ and booking automation)
- SMS-based appointment reminders and confirmations
- Lead re-engagement messaging
- Automated follow-up communications
- Calendar and scheduling integrations
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Client Responsibilities
If you are a business client using MySmartSlots tools on your website or for your customers, you agree to:
- Obtain all necessary consents from your end users before collecting their data through our tools
- Comply with applicable laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) for SMS communications
- Not use our services for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose
- Keep your account credentials and API integrations secure
- Provide accurate business information used to configure AI responses
4. SMS Messaging — Consent, Frequency & Opt-Out
MySmartSlots sends automated SMS messages on behalf of its business clients. These messages may include appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, missed call follow-up texts, booking links, review requests, and other service-related communications.
Consent: SMS messages are only sent to individuals who have provided their phone number to a MySmartSlots client business and have implicitly or explicitly consented to receive communications from that business. By providing your phone number to a business that uses MySmartSlots, you consent to receive automated text messages related to your appointment or inquiry.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with the business. You may receive up to 3–5 messages per appointment or inquiry, including confirmation, reminder, and follow-up messages.
Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-enable messages, reply START.

No Sharing: Phone numbers collected through our SMS system are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the service communications described above.
Our chat widget and messaging tools use artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
- MySmartSlots does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
- Business clients are responsible for reviewing and customizing AI prompts to reflect accurate business information
- End users should not rely solely on AI-generated responses for critical decisions
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Our chat widget and messaging tools use artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate responses. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
- MySmartSlots does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
- Business clients are responsible for reviewing and customizing AI prompts to reflect accurate business information
- End users should not rely solely on AI-generated responses for critical decisions
6. Payment & Billing
Service fees are outlined in your signed Business Services Agreement. All plans require a one-time $199 setup fee plus monthly or annual subscription fees. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of MySmartSlots services.
Annual Plans — Commitment & Refund Policy: Annual subscriptions represent a 12-month service commitment. Refunds for annual plans are subject to the following schedule:
- Within 30 days: Full refund minus the $199 setup fee (30-day satisfaction guarantee)
- Days 31–90: 25% of remaining prepaid balance only
- Day 91 and beyond: No refund — service continues through the end of the paid term
Monthly Plans: May be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial month refunds.
Third-party costs — including Anthropic API usage fees, Twilio SMS charges, and Render hosting — are separate from MySmartSlots fees and governed by the respective third-party terms of service.
We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, and materials associated with MySmartSlots are the property of Clair Group LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written permission.
Custom configurations, prompts, or content you provide remain your property. By providing them, you grant us a limited license to use them solely to deliver our services to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kansas law, Clair Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to:
- Lost revenue or business opportunities
- Missed appointments due to technical failures
- Errors in AI-generated responses
- Third-party service outages (Twilio, Anthropic, Render, etc.)
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clair Group LLC, its members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate services with reasonable written notice. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate access if we determine you are using our services in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and indemnification) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kansas.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
